1. Introduction

This HR manual is designed to provide guidelines and procedures for managing human resources at SURE. It aims to create a supportive and efficient work environment to achieve our mission and vision.


2. Organizational Structure

SURE is governed by a Managing Committee comprising seven members. The Chief Functionary is the President, Shri G. Gopal Reddy. The organizational structure includes various departments, each managed by a dedicated team of trained staff and volunteers.


3. Recruitment and Selection

  • Policy: SURE is committed      to recruiting skilled and dedicated individuals to support our mission.
  • Procedure:
    • Job Posting:      Vacancies will be posted on the SURE website and other relevant       platforms.
    • Application:      Interested candidates will submit their resumes and cover letters.
    • Screening:      Initial screening by the HR department to shortlist candidates.
    • Interview:      Conducted by a panel including department heads.
    • Selection:      Based on interview performance, references, and background checks.
    • Offer: Formal job offer       with clear terms and conditions.


4. Employment Categories

  • Permanent Employees:     Full-time employees with benefits.
  • Contract Employees:     Hired for a specific period or project.
  • Volunteers:     Individuals offering their time without financial compensation.
  • Interns: Students or      recent graduates gaining work experience.


5. Working Hours and Leave Policies

  • Working Hours:     Standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
  • Leave Policies:
    • Annual Leave:      21 days per year.
    • Sick Leave:      12 days per year.
    • Maternity/Paternity Leave:      As per Indian labor laws.
    • Public Holidays:      As per the state and national holiday calendar.


6. Code of Conduct

  • Professionalism:     Employees are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and      ethics.
  • Confidentiality:     Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Respect: Treat all      colleagues, beneficiaries, and partners with respect and dignity.
  • Integrity:     Adhere to the principles of honesty and integrity in all actions.


7. Performance Management

  • Objectives:     To ensure that employees perform to the best of their abilities and      contribute to the organization's goals.
  • Appraisal:     Annual performance reviews conducted by supervisors.
  • Feedback:     Regular feedback sessions to discuss progress and areas of improvement.
  • Promotion:     Based on performance, experience, and organizational needs.


8. Training and Development

  • Policy: SURE is committed      to the continuous development of its staff.
  • Programs:     Regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Opportunities:     Encouragement to attend external training and conferences.


9. Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: Competitive and      aligned with industry standards.
  • Benefits:     Health insurance, retirement plans, and other statutory benefits.
  • Incentives:     Performance-based incentives and bonuses.


10. Health, Safety, and Security

  • Policy: Ensuring a safe      and healthy work environment.
  • Safety Measures:     Regular safety drills and health check-ups.
  • Security:     Secure premises with necessary safety protocols.


11. Grievance Redressal

  • Policy: Fair and      transparent process to address employee grievances.
  • Procedure:
    • Reporting:      Grievances can be reported to the immediate supervisor or HR department.
    • Investigation:      Thorough investigation of the grievance.
    • Resolution:      Appropriate action taken to resolve the issue.


12. Disciplinary Procedures

  • Policy: Maintaining      discipline and addressing misconduct.
  • Procedure:
    • Warning:      Verbal or written warnings for minor offenses.
    • Suspension:      Temporary suspension for serious offenses.
    • Termination:      Termination of employment for severe misconduct.


14. Termination and Exit Policy

  • Policy: Fair and      transparent termination and exit procedures.
  • Procedure:
    • Resignation:      Employees are required to give one month’s notice.
    • Termination:      Based on performance or misconduct, following due process.


    Exit Interview: Conducted to gather feedback and complete formalities.
